The family

If I gave my clients reviews, they would get a 5 star rating! We did this session at their house, so they made me a delicious matcha. They're so sweet, fun, and funny, and I loved meeting their pets since we don't have any of our own...unless you count the hummingbirds that have flown south for the winter.

They moved from TX in the summer of 2025 when we moved from Southern California. She was saying how she loves having huge trees now, just like I enjoy having all four seasons here! So we really leaned into the Fall foliage for this session.

making memories


I love when a family is willing to be playful during their session. They're creating memories even if they don't end up ordering prints of those photos. Some of these were their ideas, which was fun! And some were my idea, which I appreciate them playing along with.

We had time for the parents, an opera singer and a voice professor, to update their professional headshots with a variety of options.

There's just something about Black and White photography, so I had to throw a few of those in as well. They're always some of my favorites.
